American Standard Motorsports provides a percentage of all of our merchandising profits at the weekend events to help fund Racing 4 Education, a program that provides grants for education of all kinds, including funding for the Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU), and the Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) members of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU).
Our promotional activities are geared towards education and that includes school and community on-site visits. Working in conjunction with the school district and municipal officials, we will be promoting the importance of education in general with a focus on STEM activities and games and will support these visits with Instructors, the ASM Race cars, haulers, motorsport equipment and professional staff.
Our team will engage with city leaders on behalf of the ASM Series to coordinate special on-site public engagement displays, set up at designated market areas across the country one week to 10 days ahead of an ASM weekend racing event in that market. This will promote education and exposure to motorsports to a new and growing fan base, and provide the public with an opportunity to learn about motorsports and our R1T1 Initiative. As part of this event students can see the race cars, haulers, and equipment and meet our professional personnel. At the displays we distribute special ASM educational materials and cards, bumper stickers and other motorsports prizes, including race tickets, which will be awarded in special drawings for people who have signed up at our event in that market.
